According to the Red Cross, the Coronavirus pandemic has created critical shortages in blood supplies. Adequate blood donations are crucial to providing lifesaving blood transfusions for organ transplant recipients, cancer patients, trauma victims, and others. These supplies are needed now more than ever. 

Extra safety precautions by the Library and the Red Cross will be followed to protect the health of all donors and staff.
