Event Details

Join Bexley Public Library and University Archivist Tamar Chute to learn more about the history and stories of Ohio Stadium. The traditions and stories surrounding Ohio Stadium are as diverse as those who have been there. Fondly called ‘the Horseshoe’ since it opened in 1922, Ohio Stadium is a massive structure that holds just over 102,000 fans. Although football has always been its main purpose, the stadium’s designers successfully predicted that it would be much more.
