Event Details
This annual event is a great opportunity for residents to discard unwanted, usable items and re-home them to neighbors. Conversely, residents are able to obtain new-to-them items for a fraction of the price. In addition to keeping items out of the landfill, these events allow residents the opportunity to mingle and enjoy the outdoors! Learn more or register here!
Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18
Community Yard Sale – 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Any resident may host a yard sale, provided they register with City Hall. Yard sales may be held in the front yard for this one day only, but may not be held on or in front of the sidewalk or in the street. Registration is free!
Community Freecycle Event – 1:00 – 5:00 pm
The Community Freecycle event will start immediately following the community yard sale. During these hours, residents may place items that are unsold between the sidewalk and the curb. Items that do not fit in this area may be placed directly behind the sidewalk (between the sidewalk and the house). Items or groupings of items must be clearly marked as free for the taking, and must be marked “Freecycle Day.”
