Bexley Land Use Strategy
The Bexley Land Use Strategy Commission was first formed in 2009 in order to address challenges facing the city, and in order to identify strategic priorities, recognizing that a consensus-built plan was needed in order to create a concerted effort for development in Bexley. City leadership is now in the process of refreshing the Land Use Strategy, with a commission re-launch commenced in 2023.
The mission of the Bexley Land Use Strategy Commission is to develop a strategic planning framework and land-use vision for the City of Bexley that protects and enhances our unique community assets by:
- Identifying and addressing short and long term planning options and land-use challenges.
- Recommending opportunities for civic improvement and beautification through land-use policies and initiatives.
