It’s hard to believe our awesome Fourth of July Festivities are over, but we are thrilled at the chance to honor some of the awesome creative energy on display at the parade. Groups went all out with floats that embodied the Bexley: It’s a Blast theme, celebrated the holiday, and reminded us all why Bexley’s parade is the best! Check out our winners below and while you’re at it, start thinking of ways your group can wow the judges next year.  A special thanks goes out to Bexley Recreation and Rubino’s Pizza for generously sponsoring the parade entry prizes!

First Place Winner: Montrose Elementary – Pizza Pool Party at Bexley Pool!
Montrose Elementary has a history of great floats, and this year their entry was truly a Blast with matching rockets and some impressive balloon smoke. 

Second Place Winner: Bexley Youth Softball – Pizza Party with free use of the BPAK
Bexley Youth Softball took the theme for a spin with their Blasting Home Runs entry which included lots of great decoration including some cool old school pomp!

Third Place Winner: Deluxe Doors – Free Use of the BPAK
Deluxe Doors pulled out all the stops on their Christmas in July float, which included costumed participants of all your winter holiday favorites!

Honorable Mention: The Delisio Family’s Yacht Rock-Mobile Golf Cart Float!
We also wanted to give a special shout out to an adorable beach-themed golf cart that charmed us all (and may have inspired a future Golf Cart Float category!)
