Jeffrey Mansion Expansion & Master Plan
We are excited to announce that the Jeffrey Mansion Renovation & Expansion project is underway! This project would not be possible without the support of the Bexley Community Foundation, City of Bexley & Bexley City Council, Recreation Board, and the community, so thank you for your support!
As construction begins, we wanted to make our users aware of some inconveniences as it relates to Mansion & Park access and parking availability that will come up and thank you in advance for your patience.
The north Mansion lot will become a part of the construction zone, so we will be losing access there. This will also affect access down to the park and Memorial Shelter via the north lot, so be sure to access the these locations from the Jeffrey Park Lot.
Jeffrey Mansion & Park Access & Parking Options
1. South Lot at the Mansion
2. Parkview Ave & Clifton Ave.
3. Jeffrey Park Lot (off Clifton Ave.)
Thank you, Bexley Community Foundation!
The Bexley Community Foundation has donated over $2.5 million towards the Jeffrey Mansion Expansion Project. Due to the generosity of them and their donors, this project is coming to life.
The Jeffrey Mansion Expansion Project is estimated to be completed in December of 2020. To view video updated from Recreation and Parks Director, Michael Price, please click here.
Update on Jeffrey Mansion Rentals
Jeffrey Mansion Rentals are not being taken for 2020 due to the construction. We will be posting rental information at www.bexley.org/rentals as it relates to the rental schedule for 2021.
We appreciate your understanding and patience throughout the construction period. We know that the end product will be so rewarding for our department, the City of Bexley and our community!
Jeffrey Mansion Master Plan
The Jeffrey Mansion Master Plan Refresh Committee voted 8-0 to approve the Jeffrey Mansion Master Plan Refresh. At the August 29th steering committee meeting the committee reviewed the final version of the plan, made a few changes and voted unanimously to approve the plan. The committee also passed a motion "to support the concepts outlined in the 'Intent of Alcohol Policy' overview, and to urge the Recreation Board and City Council to consider those concepts," in regards to potential amendments to the Alcohol Policy Framework.
