City Council Meeting on Tuesday, November 9 at 6:00 pm

Coming up at the November 9 meeting, City Council will discuss the following items:

  • Ordinance 42-21: Authorize a transfer from the Road and Alley Fund of $2,379 to the Bond Retirement Fund and to appropriate $2,379 from the Bond Retirement Fund, to appropriate $43,307 from the Water Fund and to appropriate $1,904 from the Sewer Fund to pay debt service related to the South Roosevelt and Ashbourne Improvement Project
  • Ordinance 43-21: Authorize the Mayor and Auditor to enter into a contract between the City of Bexley and Franklin County Public Health
  • Ordinance 44-21: Authorize a transfer from the General Fund to the City Hall TIF Fund, Fund 52, in the amount of $20,250
  • Ordinance 46-21: Authorizing appropriations for the calendar year starting January 1, 2022; to confirm the appointment of Marc Fishel as City Attorney
  • Ordinance 47-21: Amend section 408.01 (d) of the codified ordinances, in order to allow for income-based fines for minor misdemeanors
  • Ordinance 48-21: Amend Chapter 434.03(j), to amend the penalty associated with violation of 434.03, Maximum Speed Limits; Assured Clear Distance Ahead
  • Ordinance 49-21: Create Chapter 270, Board of Control, to specify contracting procedures in accordance with Section 59 of the City Charter, and to establish Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity (EDGE) procurement policies
  • Ordinance 50-21: Establish the Water and Sewer rates charged by the City of Bexley
  • Resolution 14-21: Schedule the Bexley City Council meeting dates and times for the year 2022
  • Resolution 15-21: To support the City’s application of grant funding for a proposed pedestrian bridge at Schneider Park, across Alum Creek

The following tabled items may be discussed:

  • Ordinance 12-21: Adopt and approve the City of Bexley Electric Aggregation Plan of Operation and Governance, and to declare an emergency
  • Ordinance 24-21: Award the Bexley Electricity Aggregation Program contract to AEP Energy, based upon the terms and conditions provided for in their RFP, as modified by the Board of Control
  • Ordinance 40-21: Specify overtime pay provisions for City employees who worked community events on July 4, 2021 and September 5, 2021
  • Ordinance 41-21: Accepting the proposed donation of the Columbia Place private street in the Columbia Place subdivision by the City of Bexley for a public street
