Though Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District‘s Community Backyards Program, residents can earn up to $50 for their yard by participating in the online course and quiz, or attending a virtual Zoom class. This program combines stormwater education with on-the-ground conservation implementation, and residents who participate leave with a concrete understanding of how they can lessen their impact on local waterways!
