Open Call for Residents Interested in Helping to Craft a Plan!

Jeffrey Park, located in the City of Bexley, is the crown jewel community park which includes the historic Jeffrey Mansion and 32 acres of parkland and urban forest. The Bexley Recreation Board would like to develop a comprehensive park plan that will focus on the preservation and enhancement of the limited resource that is Jeffrey Park.

The Recreation Board is forming a committee to study Jeffrey Park and Woods and to develop a preservation and enhancement plan.  We are looking for volunteers with experience/expertise in areas such as park planning, forest management, and naturalist.  We anticipate the committee will meet 1-2 times per month until the plan is completed.  If you are interested in volunteering your time and expertise to the development of the Jeffrey Park Preservation and Enhancement Plan, please complete this application.  We are so very excited to work toward the creation of this much needed plan as we work to ensure the amazing and beautiful Jeffrey Park will be enjoyed for generations to come. Thank you in advance for considering lending your knowledge, experience, passion, and time to this committee. The deadline for applications is April 28th.  We would like to have the committee begin meeting in early May/June.  If you have any questions, please contact Michael Price, Recreation and Parks Director, at
