Bexley Memorial Tree Program
The City of Bexley Memorial Tree Program offers residents and community members a meaningful way to honor a loved one, recognize someone special, or leave a lasting legacy in our community.
Through a memorial tree donation, participants help expand and sustain Bexley’s urban arboretum while contributing to the beauty and health of our parks and streetscapes. Trees planted through the program support the City’s ongoing tree-planting efforts and may be accompanied by recognition such as a listing on the City’s memorial tree map or, at certain levels, a commemorative plaque.
If you are interested in dedicating a memorial tree, we invite you to complete Dedication Request form. Once submitted, City staff and the Bexley Community Foundation will coordinate the planting and recognition details as part of the City’s annual fall tree-planting program. Your gift will help grow Bexley’s canopy while creating a living tribute that will be enjoyed by generations to come.
The Bexley Memorial Tree Program is a partnership between the City of Bexley and Bexley Community Foundation.
Recently Planted Species Available for Dedication
In addition to trees that will be planted during the fall season, there are a number of trees recently planted in Commonwealth Park that are avaiable now for dedication. View those species below or view the full list of fall planting season options here.
