Jazz in the Park: Clave Sonic

Jazz in the Park is an outdoor concert series held at Havenwood Park in Bexley, Ohio. Each summer, the City showcases central Ohio bands, bringing some of the best talent in our area right to Bexley. Food trucks will be on-site for food purchase at each concert. Grab a blanket or chair and bring a friend!

Clave Sonic is a Latin jazz-fusion trio from Columbus, Ohio, known for its high-energy, groove-based jazz set. The band’s name is inspired by the traditional rhythmic pattern in Afro-Cuban music, “Clave.” The group’s original compositions combine the sounds of Medeski, Martin, and Wood meets Chick Corea and Stevie Wonder, mixed with Afro-Cuban rhythms, creating an exciting and entertaining experience for listeners.
