Earlier this year, five design and planning firms began designing a new vision for Columbus to connect us to nature and each other like never before as part of the Rapid 5 project. The Alum Creek Corridor is one of the five major visions of the project, and we’re looking for your feedback!
The vision for Alum Creek is to elevate its hidden potential and function as a spine which supports a robust network of social infrastructure that can serve the diverse local community as well as visitors across the region. This vision creates community-facing gateways that connect people with equitable access to recreational, ecological, educational, and economic opportunities for all, which you can read about by clicking here.
The project is in its earliest stage, the feasibility stage. Planning partners are soliciting feedback from Bexley residents regarding opinions and usage of the Alum Creek trail and surrounding parks. If you have a moment, please participate in this survey by clicking here.
